Im happy with page 12 , hihi ,  useful document  ,

Noted the lambda / 40 'limit' which gives about 45 feet on 500 k with 10% maximum efficiency , might be a height worth aiming for ? I'm 10 foot short , but with a top lading coil before the capacity section ..

I will add the two files to the uk500 group for ref , should any one want add any other links etc

Looking at the list of BBC Publications (
http://www.bbc.co.uk/rd/pubs/whp/index101-120.shtml ) the author of
this paper, R.H.M. Poole,  has also written one on electrically short
antennas; and on a few other subjects dear to amateurs.   Do we 'know'
him ?
