The short lead is the minus negative lead on a electrolytic cap. Are the mods for the Softrock 136kc online? I have a couple Softrock kits here but have not built them yet.

Jim,

May I bother you with what may seem to be a trivial question?

I am about halfway through assembling the circuit board for a Softrock Lite V6.2 with your mods for 136. I have come up against a problem and can't ask Tony Parks because he is on holiday.

Very simply, I am not sure about the polarity markings on the electrolytic capacitors that came with the kit. They have a grey stripe with a 0 on it and this is adjacent to the shorter of the two leads. If I recall correctly, this is the negative lead, but I have not done much electronics construction since my move to Burgundy 3 1/2 years ago.

Can you advise, please?
