Hello Joe,is not easy to find a clear frequency in Europe due to the strongs broadcast stations.
Whats your authorized range frequencies for your beacon ?

For information:

• France Inter  162 kHz 
• BBC  198 kHz
• RTL  234 kHz
• Europe 1 183 kHz
• RMC 216 kHz
