Then how about you ignore their existence instead of passing comment in
public about the failings, as you see it, of the systems concerened?

If radio operating is your thing, not computerised "appliance operating"
and other more modern approaches to technical investigation (which is
after all what this band is all about, not DXCC collecting or dull
repetitive CW QSOS) then why do you even look at them? 

Surely a dyed in the wool CW man like yourself should eschew PCs, email
and the t'internet and stick with good old RF.
