Hi Markus and group.
The source I have been using recently is xtal controlled, and whilst not temperature controlled, should not vary much.
The frequency as measured tonight, using a GPS locked frequency standard, is 502.2268 KHz, drifting slowly LF as it warms up.
in the time taken to write this it has gone to 502.2263.
The Xtal oscillator only runs (at 8MHz )on TX.
when needed I have a DDS based synth that gives me full coverage of the band.
For now I am testing on the frequency above ore thereabouts, and will be running on and off this evening.
Regards

Hi Mark,

yes, you are producing a nice signal into Nuernberg. What seems a little odd is that both Nicolas and Roman show it on 502.200 kHz, whereas my reading would be more like 502.225. Give or take a pixel on the ruler, but my cal shouldn't be that far off...

Reading about wind, moisture and antenna voltage effects sounds very familiar - my 200 pF on 137 k is definitely a fair-weather-only type ;-)

Best wishes
Markus, DF6NM
