Subject: LF: CW TA on 500kHz

Hello LFers,

Commenced sending QRSS3 on 501.193kHz at 2100hrs. Started to receive reports from VO1NA on 7000.5kHz just before 2200. At 2230 the report changed to RST 339. I switched to CW and reported Joe's signal 559 increasing to 579 and 599 for a brief period. My reports increased to 459 at 2245 falling back to 339 then 229 until they faded at around 2250. The rise and fall of signal levels on 500kHz matched similar fluctuations on 7MHz. At the end of the QSO a couple of stations could be heard calling VO1NA on 7000.5. No e-mail was used in the QSO. One mail was sent in the middle of the day to say I would be on during the evening.

Regards

Peter, G3LDO
