Hello Pat, LF, As an experimentally minded person I do of course keep an open mind on these matters, and conduct regular trials to determine which varietal gives the best results (both for soldering and for manual telegraphy!) Currently I find the Chilean Carmenère to be good value! Bottoms up! John |
