Hi LF, Just attempted my usual 11pm sked with Finbar. Initially seemed not too bad but high QRN crashes, and deep QSB soon took its toll and we called it a day. I was then called by GI3PDN, who was initially stronger than Finbar had been, but again deep QSB and deafening static crashes ruined it before we could even exchange reports! On the odd brief occasion the QRN stopped signals seemed to pop up out of the noise and be Q5, but only for the briefest of moments. Oh well - roll on winter and the end of the summer lightning season! Cheers, John |
