Thanks to Dave, Laurie, Graham & John for reports on my transmission last
night. The improved antenna seems to work well I was hearing Finbar's beacon
during daylight at good audible level solid 100% copy were I struggled
before.
I will beacon again later today.

Your beacon clearly audible here above the static. I don't remember being
able to copy your signal by ear previously. Obviously the new roof on the

Finally had the garage roof replaced (had to employ a different roofer due
to false & broken promises).
I am currently testing re-erected & hopefully improved antenna in my small
garden. Consists of 12 mtrs vertical, elevated inductance & small top
capacity hat.
503.600 KHz, sending G4WGT (qrss03), 6wpm CW ID, 5 minute intervals.
Reports welcome.
