First signals heard on 500KHz today, GI4DPE 559 at 16:20z on one leg of a 1/2 size G5RV + about 100uH..
Working on 12m top loaded vertical (my pump-up Hilomast with a 4m beam on top).. Have it stood off of ground on 1/2 thick PTFE block.
Working on impedance measurement bridge and then the ATH  (yes John SLV, it is an ATH:<)))  ) 
 
Assuming I can hear people OK in this cruddy & noisy environment, I will maybe go for the NOV
8W amp and Tx converter about ready to roll.
