Hello LFers, Anyone here happen to know how much power and into what type of antenna do Navtex stations use? It used to be 1kW into a vertical, but I don't know the length of the vertical. I used to receive a station near St Johns sometimes with ice warnings. I used an active loop. Mike Near Manchester, UK -- M.J.Powell |
