Hello all,Like my friend Dave, ZL3FJ, I am also "in waiting" on a 500kHz allocation in ZL land. I have done some testing on my "modded" IC706 Mk2 using a thermal RF ammeter and dummy load. About 30 watts maximum output was obtained although the waveform was nothing to write home about. My attempts to get more output power were rewarded with a much poorer waveform and no more output.
