JB asked That's right, there's a 20dB pad switched in between 500-1600kHz (try tuning through 500kHz). Plenty of fixes on the 'web, or join http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TS-440/ and search the postsDoes anyone here know how the Kenwood TS-440 fares at 500 kHz.? Mine does a fine job down at 137 and equally well on the Lowfer 160- 190 kHz. range, but it seems a little "deaf" around 500. I'm wondering if there's an attenuator that's getting switched in above 200 kHz.? |
