Hi Bob hopefully your nil returns will not dismay the beacon stations too
much. The LF propagation conditions have been quite heavily depressed the
last couple of nights. Hopefully the high speed stream from the Coronal
hole, which caused the minor geomagnetic storm, has moved away now, and
propagation conditions should be improving. Steve W3EEE's plot of DCF39 last
night displayed levels only just above the noise and some 25dB lower than
"normal" a couple of nights earlier. This is a shorter path of only 6000km,
and longer paths (more transits through the ionosphere, or hops) will suffer
most.
