Steve advised me that you will most likely have the answer to this one.

In liberating some TV horizontal output cores for a more beneficialpurpose... in amateur gear :o) ,I busted some of the cores... How successful is glue? What kind should beused and what kind avoided.

Should I just be pitching the cores?
