If you have a few broken ones, try some super glue on one of them and measure the inductance of a single turn on a good core then the glued core and see if it is down on the glued core. A heatgun should take it back apart if you want to try another glue type later. Epoxy like JB Weld or some sort of metal bearing epoxy may work fine.
I think the EU guys are a sleep now so probably in the morning or our wee hours they will awake and find your question post...No fun waiting all night for an answer. I bet oyu want to glue one tonight and see how it works. Any idea what material they are made of? I have a few out of computer monitor's.
