I have the Vol 2 book but it is smaller than is stated on the listing (19 x
24.5 cm) & has no period ads in it, I would not expect ads in a manual like
this!!!
Makes good reading tho'.

I notice that eBay has the two volumes of Admiralty Handbook of
Wireless Telegraphy 1938 at a very reasonable price, from a UK seller
with only a few hours to go. Despite its age, this is a very useful
book for LF experimentation as the Navy was the last to use LF in
restricted sites (ie ships) before amateurs.
