Bryce, Scott, and other grabber ops,

Watching propagation is a much easier task due to the work which you put into keeping the grabbers up.
I, for one, would like to thank you publicly for your efforts.

Scott's grabber has shown some interesting characteristics in the way the signal from VY1JA fades relative to the strength of the received signal from VE7SL, and vice versa. Distinctive one-way propagation exists on that 1000 mile path, which has switched sides during recent tests, starting with one direction good and the second poor, and then swapping weak and strong ends of the circuit. It was interesting that the fading of the received signal at VE7TIL matched the fading of VE7SL at VY1JA, while the reception of VY1JA at SL grew stronger, with SL and TIL so close geographically. (my signal going up at SL and down at TIL at the same time)

If anyone else has captures of VY1JA from last night please track the QSB and let me know.

Last night, at 10/7/06 6:43:38, was the first capture of my entire callsign on your grabber, Bryce.

Would you like an LWL card for your shoebox?

Again, thanks guys.

J.
VY1JA
