Hi Markus and all,

I heard the signal today and wondered why it's so broad - don't they apply amplitude shaping to the baseband signal before modulating it, or what do you think ? I couldn't record the signal when I heard it but it sounded very harsh to me, almost like deliberately to produce broad sidebands. Still I don't like the idea to have to use a 'puter to get rid of this on 136.5 in CW ;-)

Dear Uwe,

the FSK tests from Hungary were on air between 11:20 and 13:55, and intermittently for a few minutes before 15:00 and 16:00 - see http://members.aol.com/df6nm3/Archive_2006/0912.HTM . Dave 'YXM reported a silent carrier on 135.47 earlier today, which is outside my grabber's range.

So it looks like we all got the problem...

Hi Markus and Ko,
was the station off today?
if so, I have a problem.
