If you're generating 1kW of real power, and feeding that into a -30dB
antenna for your 1 Watt ERP, that gives 999 Watts of 'lost' power for you to
extract and light up your bulb.

what puzzles me is that you can energise a bulb [300 ma x 12.6volts?] at
nearly 4 watts with an ERP of less than 1 watt...........;-))
