Hello LFers, OK, if we're all going to confess, I'll throw in my bit as well. As a kid I had (and still have!) a "Ford Coil" and I made a transmitter. I successfully spanned the 18 miles between our cottage at Kintail and a friend's home in Goderich with it, using about a mile of abandoned rural telephone line as the antenna.
