LF seems to be an all time low, no acty at all recently, it is hardly worth the effort.The internet and mobile phones seem to be a better bet, followed by vhf/uhf then hf if you want to talk to someone. Most operators are now appliance ops, no cw or technical skills required any more.The norm now is buy a box, plug in and go. In fact most amateurs today cannot solder, or even change a fuse, hardly amateur radio. 73 G3KEV |
