Hi Jay, LFers,

Thanks for your comments.  I'm quite pleased with my receive setup and
attribute my success chiefly to the big loop antenna.  It's composed of a
number of features that I "borrowed" from others here on the list, but I
put some of my own ideas into it as well.  The balanced and shielded
pickup loop located 6 inches inside of the main loop windings plays a
big role, along with my two stage preamp located right at the antenna.
Mind you, a quiet rural QTH has to be concidered as well.
