What do those WW-2 RF caps look like? I have a bunch of oldies here collecting dust. Also have some huge old Soviet door knob type caps.

Hi Bob,
    I hope so, it will be a 200pF unit in parallel with 6000 pF total capacitance. It should experience 200/6000 or 3.3% of the total current. Total current should be 30 amps, I'm asking the doorknob to handle 1 amp.  The HT-57 doorknob I plan on using is rated for 15 amps (though I'm not sure what frequency the 15 amp rating applies to). should have known it was to be divided current,, keep your eye open for the
WW2 RF caps at hamfests,,, problem is some folk think there antique and
want money for them

I have picked up some and they generally check OK even though they are old
