Dear Chris,
These are "Datatrak" beacons, operated by
Securicor, I believe, and used for vehicle tracking. There are several located
around western Europe. That is about all I know about them - does anybody have
any technical info about this system?

Today,
I’ve come across a strange sound on two different freqs, namely 132.5kHz and 144.5kHz on
USB.
It
sounds like a cross between ‘a ball-bearing rattling around the bottom of a
steel bucket’ and a sonar pulse!!!
Any
ideas?
