this year Our LW-Acty-day at 1./2. October was somewhat different to the
previous years. Due to severe rain we erected the antenna near the plummers
room in the farm , where we hade placed the radio equipment. The distance from
the famr to the aereal was nearly the same as in the last year, but no
reception was possible ( no calls heard) . So we worked mainly crossband,
though cq-generator was active on 136 k. Thanks to all those who have
confirmed reception. We think about haveing this day in spring (about May) or
cancel it, when again such a wether with predicted 30 mm precipitations is
coming. We, the active hams of club section P41 are all about the average age
of 52 years (+/-) and we are neither heroes nor leisure time rambos.....
I now go for hollidays to Kyklades islands, and hope I will have a second

German Longwave Activity Day of the DARC District Württemberg
Dear OMs and LWLs,
like in the last year, the DARC association Hohenstaufen P41 (DOK P41) is arranging the Longwave Activity Day of the DARC District Württemberg.
Start: Saturday, 1st October 2005, 12.00 UTC
End: Sunday, 2nd October 2005, 12.00 UTC
Starting on Saturday afternoon at 12.00 UTC until Sunday 12.00 UTC it will be transmitted on the longwave frequency 136 kHz in CW, in the evening in the mode QRSS-CW.
Our preferred frequencies:
CW 136,50 kHz, QRSS-CW 137,70 kHz, qrss3 (one cw-dot lasts three seconds) QSK QSU (please reply exact on the used frequency).
Transmitt operation is performed with the club call DK 0 UH and the operators call. Please QSL via bureau, please qsl to operator too.
Our Locator: JN48TM in D-72589 Westerheim, south of the City Goeppingen. Confirming operation (ZAP) is performed on HF 7021 kHz, the request is made on Longwave.
IF-Bandwidth used is 100 Hz, Audio BW for QRSS will be about 100 Hz too.
