Markus, I think WOLF may have some real potential on that long path when the bit rate is slowed down and the sync issue resolved by 1 pps ticks, or whatever. Of course, the throughput will suffer a bit! The present 960 bit message would take 16 minutes at a 1 b/s rate. Perhaps if GPS sync is adopted, the reference channel will be less critical, and we could halve that time. Smarter guys than I will have to work that out! John Andrews |
