I was thinking of running that from a portable location out in the
fields. As an RX-antenna it is ok, but for TX I have to find something
else, like a portable vertical system with topload/capacative head

I have done quite a lot of portable operating on LF (both 73 and
136kHz), and have had successes and failures. Unless you can find a
large support, the easiest antenna to set up is one on a kite. It is
easy and cheap to get a 60m (almost) vertical erected, and this will
give you a good signal even if you don't have everything working
100%.
