Hi Dick, the popular portable DX antenna has always been a kite bourne one
on 136kHz in the UK. Dave G0MRF and Dave G3YXM, and Peter G3LDO have
experience with these. See also this site

ideas are common.

Well thanks all for the usefull info.
I was thinking of running that from a portable location out in the fields.
As an RX-antenna it is ok, but for TX I have to find something else, like
a
portable vertical system with topload/capacative head etc.
