Dear Bob, Teo and LF group,

regarding frequency scales:
when annotating my ticks in the overlayed clip, I erroneously typed in "922.x" where it should have been "921.x"; corrected version appended here. The "original" is at http:/members.aol.com/df6nm2/overlay.jpg (72kB).

Otherwise I checked my calibration today by feeding GPS 1-pps pulses to the RX, and the resulting 1 Hz lines were deviating less then half a pixel from SpecLab's scale ticks. This would imply that ZL2CA's absolute frequency readout should have been 0.1 to 0.12 Hz low.

Dear Bob, Teo, Laurie and LF group,

yes, I definitely think that traces of YU7AR were seen by ZL2CA last night. The image overlay clearly shows a match between the narrow dashes on Bob's Argo and my own 21-milliHz capture of Teo's transmission (fat yellowish trace on vertically stretched noise) behind it.

Congratulations to both ! And best of luck, to Laurie and anyone else trying to break that record as soon as possible ;-).
