Hi All , Wide Band Distribution amplifiers (4-8MHz for example) at Hanslope Park SCU3 monitoring station used 807 valves to drive several HRO recievers, there were 32 banks of 2, when I was there. They were designed by Dud Charman, who was also responsible for the Rhombic aerials of which there were many. Obviously capable of handling large signals without inter-mod (esential when we were looking for the weakest ones ) and of driving many feet of coax cables via large plug/socket switching unit called "the Concentrator",for what reason I dont know..
