Dear LF Group,

Thanks to the Crawley club guys for setting up MB2HFC, and all those who
called/reported over the weekend - the final tally was roughly 20 stations
worked in 8 countries; G, F, DL, PA, EA, OH, OK, S5, so good activity.
Unfortunately, we did not manage to hook up with VO1NA; G0MRF and myself
were transmitting an receiving on schedule untill about 2am Sunday morning,
by which time we had not seen even a trace of Joe's signal, so we decided to
give up!

A more unfortunate piece of news was passed on to me during a QSO with Jeff,
F6BWO, who says that Werner, ON6ND is very ill - I expect he would
appreciate any messages or cards from those on LF who know him.
