Throw up some #8 house wire for the loop conductor. It is way better
than the #12 wire and will last longer than the coax conductor. #8 will
handle more current than you care to generate.

Still looks like the best I can do here is RG58/59 rather than #12.
Right now ( 10:40PM ) Laurence is audible on the speaker -
and across the room - where I have just finished building a
"Tower of Power" and wrapping it up with duct tape !
