Peter Jim and Group,

Thank-you for the entertainment tonight. Just finished
reading the email and now having a wee nip to celebrate LF TA #3.
Will run the beacon until dawn.

I didn't plan to be on last night. The weather guesser predicted snow
blizzards.
Went to guitar class and didn't get back until 2300 and the weather was
cold, still and dry - ideal for transmitting. Raised the folding antenna in
the dark and transmitted part of my call. Switched to receive and saw Joe
readability M. Transmitted again then went back to receive and read my
report and sent acknowledgment.
I have been getting much better reports from Joe over the last few days at
around 0700 but the peak is short lived. This is a different pattern from
previous years when TA signals often peaked before 2359hrs.

Regards,
Peter, G3LDO
