what do you mean by "capture" ?
If you want to copy diagrams from the screen and paste them to a graphic
format (BMP, GIF, JPG ...) it's rather easy :
* press "control"+"PrintScreen"
* open any graphic software (eg. Paint)
* press "control"+"V", now you have the entire screen as picture
* use the cut and/or copy function to get that part you need and save it
If you want to draw circuit diagram or design PCB's I can recommend Eagle
from CadSoft.
They have a powerful freeware version :
