Hello to Joe & all at LF,
I tried as I suggested yesterday to receive Joe VO1NA using the recently
completed 14 mtr top loaded vertical & I was pleasantly surprised at the
results, although it could just have been due to better propagation
conditions than the previous night using the G3LNP loop. On my screen
captures I first saw Joe's signal come out of the noise at about 0145 utc
(7-10-2003), the signal faded out at 0430 utc then back visible again at
0540 utc. The final fade out was at 0700 utc. We had very strong winds
during the night & some of the antenna anchoring points have moved but
doesn't seem to have effected the antenna performance.
