Thanks for the info. I have very little for YO in the Matrix so I'd better
contact Szigy and see what else he has been working. I haven't seen his
signals here yet.
I also missed out on the CN2 tests as I wasn't around at the right times but
if anyone could do it was Laurie. The strength he was received at was very
good though, maybe we could have made it too?
Will you be making an appearance at The HF Convention? It doesn't look like
there'll be an LF station this year because of nobody being available to rig
it up.Wil will be there though, so maybe I could contact him and see whether
he wants to try if I bring the gear?
At present I plan to go up only for the Sunday when the LF forum is meeting.

Subject: LF: QSO with YO2IS
Dear LF Group,
Have not been very active lately on LF, due to extreme busy-ness at work,
and also being laid up for a few days with a bad cold - but I was very
pleased to have a QSO with YO2IS at about 0500utc on Sunday morning, using
QRSS3. Conditions seemed fairly poor, with intense "Luxembourg Effect"
cluttering up the waterfall display. I gave Szigy an "M" report, and
received "O". Distance from IO91VR to KN05PS is 1701km. Szigy informs me
this was the first 2-way G - YO QSO.
Congratulations to G3AQC and CN2PD on their X-band QSO; what with other
things, I was only able to transmit beacon signals for a few hours around
midnight on 22nd/23rd, but I guess these didn't get through.
Cheers, Jim Moritz
