Hi Lawrence you may be being a bit conservative about the dark zone. I am
seeing the first traces from CFH at 2044z!!  Now according to Geoclock the
shadow is only at mid-Atlantic !! so is that "single hop" or what ?? It is
very weak but just showing on the ARGO "Band view" screen through the noise.

(using a 1.2m diam 16t indoor loop, 18dB preamp and AOR 7030 with its preamp
on)
