Hi Larry,
Spectrum Lab has been tested with the Audigy 2, the 96kHz sampling rate seems to work but the amplitudes are lower than expected (maybe some fiddling with 24-bit samples required). The "old" Audigy does not support 96kHz though the chip's specification says something different. So beware, if you want to process signals up to 48 kHz get the Audigy 2 and not the older Audigy. All lower sampling rates (8000, 11025, 22050, 44100, 48000 Hz) work nicely. Other DSP programs surely will have no problems with these cards because none of the Windoze progs does direct hardware access these days. Regards, Wolf DL4YHF. |
