This is the recommended design for a broad-band amplifier,
LA7MI has a very strong signal on 96MHz, so he added an RFC at the
input to form a lowpassfilter. I do have very strong signal on CEPT TV Ch2 (48.25MHz)
and followed LA7MI's recommendations, but also used a more lowfrequent core.
Never tested the frequency range since I am only interested in 10-400kHz range.
the JFET/PNP-type amplifier is NOT recommended for
antenna amplifier, but of course useful for many other purposes, this J310 type was
mentioned in Radcom some time in the autumn 2002
Used it earlier for frame antenna with a remote switch, too, but later discovered
that it was no need for an amplifier (two cables; one for varactor tuning and one for
power and signal). Now I have two cables, one for either antennas
TIY050 is a transistor I don't know anything more than it is epoxy pnp and free.
