Dear LF Group,
Thanks to those who were listening for the Jason sigs last night, and for
the reception reports - unfortunately the QRN level was very high, like a
summer night here, and seems to have been the same across the pond. I guess
the QRN will last a while, so I will wait a couple of days for the
thunderstorms to die away.
Thanks also to Markus, DF6NM for the 2 way Jason QSO - This was my first
actual contact in Jason mode. I have not yet worked out proper T-R
switching for Jason, so it was a bit tricky to do, but it worked very well,
in spite of this and the QRN.
