If one has ANY kind of antenna suspended in free space, the ground loss becomes zero. [grin]

This is why "miracle" antennas based on even the wackiest distortions of science seem to work if one models them under the right conditions. (Yes, I mean the CFA among others. Have you heard the current "theory" behind its operation? Maxwell had it all wrong, according to Dr Kabbary...antennas radiate because of energy vortexes, which only a genuine, authentic, patented Kabbary-tuned CFA can produce properly! So abandon all Marconis and loops, ye doomed experimenters, for thine antennas will simply cease to emit some fine morning....)
