Recently someone asked for any details about the Plessey Figaro radio as
used by fire brigades etc. for communications within buildings.
I have been supplied with a copy of the brocure on it by G3YGF at Roke Manor
Research, where the Figaro was developed in the early 1970s. If anyone wants
a copy, perhaps to place on a web page somewhere, please contact me directly
(on this address), and I'll send the ratehr large .doc file. It is 7 Megs
and has some problems getting through firewalls/barriers, but some way can
always be found. The management at Roke Manor have ok'd its distribution.
