I think the roundup days are over in America and they ought to try some
verticals on LF

Well, the guy with one of the hottest 1W Lowfer beacons of all times was
from Texas and his Beacon ID was appropriately named TEXAS. The antenna was
actually a vertical which is still by far the most popular configuration
over here. Ya see pardoner, as they say in Texas, the loopers over here are
making all the hoopla because it's the 'wave of the future', soon to make it
over to your neck of the woods. <G>

How appropriate!  A Lowfer loop could be installed on the 50ft masts
allowing for some Real communication (and could still be used in the US
territorial waters).
