Hi Alan,
Thankyou for your comments.
Tomoro night night is natter night at the club, I'll see if anyone knows of
any local operators on 73kHz.
Otherwise I shall concentrate on RX and try and get something going on
136kHz.
(I assume /P is allowed on that band - I had been pondering /P as a way of
overcoming my lack of real-estate here)
But John has answered my main question about whether the NOVs were still
being issued.

Hugh

Hi all John has just raised an interesting point about 73kHz NoVs....mind
you operation would have to be from your location John ..../P not allowed
without prior authority.
Is the list of NoVs up to date ? does any one know where it is these days?
It might be possible for someone like Hugh to organise something with a
local (to him) to get on the band before the "end of the world ". It might
not be a bad thing to shame one or two of the non-operative NoV holders
(like me !!) into action.

Cheers de Alan G3NYK JO02PB (with a suitable wire if anyone has a working
TX...I couldn't stabilise my audio amp at 73k))
