A friend of mine had some interesting comments. Could those that are hearing
these signals please comment on the locations where they are receiving from?
Also what kind of receiver and antenna system if you dont mind. This has
generated some real interest. Thanks

25 HZ is the frequency of the electric rail lines. Penn Central had a lot
of
25 HZ lines in operation until they tore down most of the over head lines
and
went all diesel back in the 70's. They used to modulate the 'hi-lines' for
track signals and even communications to the engines. The engine
communication
was before a lot of VHF radios were installed.
Where do these people who are picking this up live? If near any type of AC
rail line of the old style with the over head lines, chances are they are
hearing that carrier with control signal modulation. If they are far away
then
it is something else, maybe sub commands or who knows.
I guess I'll have to fire up a amp with low frequency response and see what
is
out there. If I hear anything then it is being transmitted through the air
and
not on rail hi-lines.
I'm going to be heading to Dulce shortly. The road was open the last I
checked
so it will be a 7 to 8 hour trip. After I finish this mail, I'll be QRT
here.
I have the HF rig with me and will come up on 18.153 if I get a chance.
