Jim, I'd obviously be happy to be on the WOLF receiving end if anyone wants to try it. I agree with your comments, particularly about the sharp threshold. My guess is that the signal peaks would be long enough to produce periods of clear copy, and we could actually get a complete call sign across. I'll take a look tonight to see if I can find a clear patch not too far from where we have been working. And I'll be in the shack tonight, and will check both 73 and 136 kHz. John Andrews, W1TAG |
