When I was involved in designing 50 Hz mains transformers we had a rule of thumb that we required one pound of laminations for each 20 VA to be handled. Is it possible to derive an equivalent figure from datasheets for a given type of ferrite and a given frequency? 73 de John Rabson G3PAI |
