There were two beacons but the one on 137.7500Khz had its ant taken down so work could be done on the building that was holding up one end and did not get put back up before the weather got cold. ( I know they work better if put up under adverse conditions. But we didn't. ) The beacon on 136.7446Khz is up and running with a 60 sec dot time. We plan on changing it to 90 sec dot time this weekend. I will talk to W4RI about the ARRL web page. I think the message I sent not confirming reception was missed. Keep trying, Andre' still has some QSL cards left.

Dear LF group,

I transmitted beacon signals last night from 2010 until 0320 last
night, on 135.9230kHz - using the same 1/2 hour per callsign
format as before. I hope to be on again tonight.

Thanks to WB5MMB for the info on the AMRAD beacon, and also
to W4DEX for the news stories. Interesting to see that the beacon
has been reported by G4CNN - however, now I am a little confused
- are there 2 beacons? I seem to remember there were, but that
one was not operating. Clearly, the one on John's screen shot
reported in the ARRL news is a different signal and frequency to
the 136.7446kHz one described by Sandy.

Cheers, Jim Moritz
