About QSO format. I have been operating EME for 11 years now . The
criterion for a qso has always been the TMO system plus appropriate
RRRs plus complete exchange of calls. I feel we should use the same
here as that procedure is Internationally recognized. To help speed
up the process one station could use 3 sec dots and the weaker one
could use what dot length was necessary

Yes, that's what is done in Eu on QRSS, though of course it's only necessarily to exchange complete calls once. It would certainly help if optimum data transfer rates (dot length) were used at each end.

I feel we are very close to a two-way, and it is still most likely at 3s dot speed for maximum use of a signal enhancement. Any chance of another visit to Jack before the Spring sets in? Having a really good way to get real-time feedback would be useful - perhaps a chat room?

I melted another cable-tie insulator with last night's activity, so some better engineering coming up this weekend.
